AEW's Chris Jericho Names Kenny Omega 'The Best Wrestler In the World Today'

Chris Jericho has named All Elite Wrestling's Kenny Omega as the best wrestler in the world. 

Omega, the current AEW Champion, also holds the IMPACT World Championship and the AAA Mega Championship, and has been consistently considered one of the best wrestlers on the planet over the last few years. 

He and Jericho put on a series of very good matches across NJPW and in the early days of AEW. The first time Jericho was in the ring with Omega was at the NJPW event, Wrestle Kingdom 12 in 2018. At the time, Omega was the IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion.

The Demo God has now offered his opinion on where Omega stands in global rankings and, for Jericho's worth, Omega is the best.

Jericho wrote on Twitter: "In my opinion @KennyOmegamanX is the best wrestler in the world today. Others may feel differently, but I’ve been in the ring [with] everybody currently working on top & there’s nobody close.

"That's why Kenny is @AEW Champ-the most protected title in the biz. It’s Impossible to argue."
