AEW's Kris Statlander Provides An Update On Her ACL Injury

The Galaxy's Greatest Alien has been out of action since June...

On the June 10 edition of Dynamite, Kris Statlander teamed with Hikaru Shida against Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford. The Galaxy's Greatest Alien hit a Tope Suicida on Kip Sabian during the match and tore her ACL in the process. She has been on the shelf ever since and underwent surgery in July to repair the cruciate ligament.

Statlander provided an update on her injury during a recent appearance on the Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast.

She said: "I'm doing pretty good. I think from what I've heard overall is that I might be a little bit ahead of others where I'm at right now, but I still have a real long way to go before I can re-debut basically and get back in the ring before I'm debuting again obviously, and I'm going to want to be training a little bit before. So I'll be able to get in the ring before you'll see me back on TV. It could be another eight months or so."
