AEW's MJF: It Doesn't Get Bigger Than Beating CM Punk
A highlight of MJF's career

MJF has admitted pinning CM Punk inside the squared circle would be the highlight of his career.
Ahead of AEW's debut in Long Island - the home of MJF - Friedman reflected on his feud with Punk so far with Sports Illustrated, noting it doesn't get bigger than beating The Second City Saviour.
"It doesn't get bigger than that. I'm well aware of it. Pinning his shoulders to the mat would be the biggest highlight of my career," MJF said.
Friedman was also full of praise for his and Punk's promo segment from the November 24 episode of Dynamite and The Salt Of The Earth revealed they didn't have a script or a time limit, they just talked.
"I thought about it in the comfort of my home. Then I had the balls to go up and say it all right to his face. Here are the facts. We didn't have a script. We didn't have a time limit. Me and Punk were in that ring, just talking, on Thanksgiving Eve. That should have drawn, maximum, 700,000 viewers, and I'm being generous. That's the greatest night to go out with your friends. It's not a night to stay in. You're with friends or you're with family. But when we were in the ring, over a million people were watching," he added.
Punk and MJF have been feuding since the post-Full Gear edition of Dynamite when the former WWE Champion irritated Friedman by walking to the ring and simply laughing at him when MJF offered to shake his hand.
