The British Invasion Reunite On NWA Powerrr
Nick Aldis and Doug Williams are riding together once more
As seen on the most recent edition of NWA Powerrr, The British Invasion reformed, with the team of Nick Aldis and Doug Williams teaming on TV for the first time since 2014.
Aldis and Williams went on to defeat Hawx Aerie (PJ & Luke Hawx) on Powerrr after earlier cutting a promo confirming their reunion
The British Invasion first formed in TNA in 2009, with Aldis (then known as Magnus) and Williams joined by Rob Terry, with the team winning the TNA World Tag Team Championships, as well as the IWGP Tag Team Titles.
After splitting in 2010, they further reunited in 2011 for a year, before making sporadic appearances for TNA/IMPACT and GFW, mainly at live shows.
It remains to be see how long this run will last, with Aldis being the NWA’s biggest main event singles star, but with the ROH Tag Titles being defended at the recent Hard Times 2 PPV, never mind the NWA World tag Team Titles still in the mix, then there’s certainly plenty of room in the NWA tag scene.
