AEW's Riho Out With Broken Collarbone

Riho out of action

Former AEW Women's World Champion Riho is set for a stint on the sidelines.

The 24-year-old posted a photo of her right arm in a sling with the caption, "I'm taking a rest a little," on Friday, suggesting she was out with an injury.

In an update, Riho noted on Twitter she has broken her collarbone and was back in Japan while she recovers.

"I'm in Japan now! I have broken my collarbone and am treating it. (It doesn't hurt so much anymore). Take a rest, heal completely, and do your best again!!!!!" she tweeted.

When exactly Riho suffered the injury is currently unknown. The 24-year-old was last in action at AEW Battle Of The Belts on Saturday, January 8, when she unsuccessfully challenged Britt Baker for the AEW Women's World Championship.

Riho has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since the very beginning, competing at the company's inaugural show, Double Or Nothing 2019. She later defeated Nyla Rose to become the inaugural AEW Women's World Champion on the first episode of Dynamite.
