Several wrestlers from New Japan Pro-Wrestling have passed through the forbidden door since NJPW formed a working relationship with AEW and the likes of Tomohiro Ishii, KENTA, Yuji Nagata, Satoshi Kojima and Minoru Suzuki have made appearances in the American company. AEW talents Best Friends, Orange Cassidy, Wheeler Yuta and Kris Statlander, meanwhile, are members of Kazuchika Okada's Chaos faction.

Jay White was the latest name to step through the forbidden door on February 9, aligning with the SuperKliq and AEW President Tony Khan told Sporting News "we" can look forward to more wrestlers passing both ways through the forbidden door.

"Jay White came through the Forbidden Door via our great relationship with New Japan Pro-Wrestling. New Japan and AEW have put on some great matches together, with great wrestlers from AEW going there. Jon Moxley was the IWGP United States champion before losing the belt to Lance Archer. We've seen great wrestlers from New Japan come into AEW, like Minoru Suzuki, Tomohiro Ishii, Jay White and KENTA. I think we can look forward to seeing more wrestlers both ways through the Forbidden Door," Khan said.

Who will be next to pass through the forbidden door remains to be seen, but fans have wanted to see Kazuchika Okada and Kota Ibushi appear in AEW. The Young Bucks and Adam Cole have also seemingly become involved in the latest Bullet Club civil war courtesy of their association with Jay White.
