AEW’s Wardlow Reveals Advice From Billy Gunn
AEW's veterans are keen to share their knowledge
One key in getting ahead in pro wrestling is absorbing any information and advice from the veterans of the industry, and AEW’s Wardlow knows this all too well.
Poised as a potential breakout star in the company, Wardlow has been quietly building momentum, whilst listening to the myriad veteran talent backstage, telling Busted Open Radio that WWE Hall of Famer Billy Gunn is one veteran who is keen to share his expertise:
"I talk to Billy Gunn very often, Mark [Henry], Jerry Lynn, he is so excited to help people. Everybody is. People are so hands-on and everybody, after a match, they are giving their two cents and putting in their input. Billy Gunn is standing there, waiting for me to come back to tell me 'yay or nay' or 'do this, don't do that.' It's phenomenal. We're so lucky to have these guys to sit under their learning tree and listen to what they have to say. A lot of great advice. Not only from the vets, but guys that have been in the business for a while on the main roster. FTR have been extremely helpful."
