The first episode of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite in 2024 saw a new star debut with the company, fresh from a title laden run in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling.

On Dynamite, the recently signed Mariah May had her debut match defeating Queen Aminata before being interviewed in ring by Renee Paquette. May said she was unhappy about having her debut match in New Jersey, a remark which saw former multi-time Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo make her way to the ring.

New Jersey born Purrazzo was given a big welcome by the crowd, with ‘The Virtuosa’ revealing to Paquette that she is indeed ‘All Elite’. Purrazzo then called out AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm, and told Mariah May to inform Storm that Purrazzo was looking for her. May didn’t take kindly to this, informing Purrazzo that she was no messenger and planting a slap on Deonna, to which Purrazzo replied with a slap of her own and a high kick to end the segment.

Tony Khan would later take to X/Twitter to confirm Purrazzo’s signing, complete with the customary ‘is All Elite’ graphic.

A former three-time Knockouts World Champion in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, Purrazzo exited the company after Final Resolution in December 2023 after the expiration of her contract, ending her run in the company after three-and-a-half years. Outside of IMPACT, Purrazzo is a former AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, and a former ROH Women’s World Champion, dropping the latter to Mercedes Martinez on an episode of AEW Dynamite in 2022.
