AEW Star Ruled Out Of Action Through Injury

There might not be a Superkick Party for a while...

Since Full Gear, The Elite has been going through somewhat of an injury crisis with both Cody and Kenny Omega being ruled out of action.

Now the injury bug has struck the Young Bucks, as announced on the latest episode of Being the Elite. Matt Jackson will be unable to compete for an indefinite period and will miss Wednesday's Dynamite in Indianapolis, Indiana at the very least.

Brother Nick Jackson will remain busy, however, and is scheduled to compete in his first singles match in four-and-half years when he faces a familiar opponent in Rey Fenix.

The Young Bucks and Lucha Brothers have competed on numerous occasions throughout 2019 in both AAA and AEW, trading the AAA Tag Team Championships back and forth since the Bucks won the titles back in March at Rey De Reyes. The rivalry culminated in a ladder match at All Out, with the Lucha Brothers emerging victorious.

Last week, after being sent through the stage by Santana and Ortiz, Matt revealed that he couldn't move his neck and has had back injuries in the past.
