AEW Still Advertising CM Punk For Collision Tapings

CM Punk still being advertised for AEW Collision

All Elite Wrestling are still using CM Punk to promote upcoming AEW Collision tapings even though the Second City Saint has reportedly been suspended by the promotion.

In tweets since AEW All In, Punk was front and centre of promotional materials for the Collision taping on October 28 in Uncasville, Connecticut and the November 4 show in Wichita, Kansas. This would signal that, at least for the time being, AEW expect Punk to remain a part of the promotion.

Punk was suspended by All Elite Wrestling following a backstage altercation at Sunday's All In pay-per-view with Jack Perry. The altercation came about after Perry took a shot at Punk during his Zero Hour match with HOOK, saying, "It's real glass, cry me a river" about a limousine windscreen that he went through soon after. The comment was in reference to a reported argument that Punk and Perry had earlier this Summer over the former Jungle Boy wanting to use real glass for a segment.

Beyond the suspension, Punk's future with AEW is up in the air as he angrily confronted Tony Khan backstage at All In before the altercation with Perry. There is no word on if Tony Khan and Punk have communicated since the confrontation and Punk was informed about his suspension by his lawyer.
