An All Elite Wrestling talent looks set to head back to the promotion.

World Wonder Ring STARDOM held an event on January 21 in Tokyo, Japan and the show saw NJPW STRONG Women's Champion Giulia team with Suzu Suzuki and Mei Seira to defeat World of STARDOM Champion Maika, HANAKO, and Megan Bayne.

Following the match, Megan Bayne confirmed she would be leaving STARDOM, although she stated in her backstage comments that she would return to the promotion at a later date.

"These past six months here in STARDOM have changed me as a person, as a wrestler and I'm very sad to be leaving. But, I don't wanna be sad and I don't want this to be goodbye because I'm not finished here and we're (Bayne & Maika) not finished. Divine Kingdom is forever. I'll be coming back," Bayne said.

Bayne began her STARDOM run in July 2023 and soon formed Divine Kingdom with Maika. Bayne was reportedly not sent to STARDOM by All Elite Wrestling but she has been under contract with Tony Khan's promotion for at least several months, with it emerging in November 2023 that Bayne had signed a deal with the company.

Bayne worked six matches across Dark and Dark: Elevation in 2021 and 2022. She also worked a dark match at an AEW Rampage taping in the Summer of 2023, teaming with Emi Sakura in a loss to Willow Nightingale and Maki Itoh.
