AEW Talent Hoping To Return On This Week's Dynamite

A talent could be back on TV from Wednesday's AEW Dynamite

An All Elite Wrestling talent might be back on TV from this week's Dynamite and they will likely receive a huge pop for doing so.

Sammy Guevara has been on the shelf with a concussion since the WrestleDream pay-per-view on October 1. Guevara teamed with Will Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita to defeat Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi, with Guevara scoring the win for his team by pinning Jericho.

Guevara was then scheduled to team with Konosuke Takeshita to take on Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega on the October 4 edition of Dynamite but he was pulled from the match due to the concussion he suffered at WrestleDream.

In an update, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Sammy is hoping to return on Wednesday night's Dynamite in Rosenberg, Texas since the show is close to his hometown of Houston. If Sammy doesn't return this week, he is expected to be back in action "relatively soon."

"I know he wants to be ready Wednesday. I don't know if it will happen but he had a setback. Overall he was doing well recovering from the concussion at the last pay-per-view. He should be back relatively soon, at least that's the hope because the Wednesday show is right outside of Houston and that's where he's from so he really wanted to be on the show. I don't know if he's going to be on the show," Meltzer said.

Announced for Wednesday night's edition of Dynamite is Kenny Omega vs. Kyle Fletcher and Jay White vs. Penta El Zero Miedo. Sting will also address his fans
