AEW To Reveal On-Screen Authority Figure On Dynamite

New authority figure to be revealed on Dynamite

All Elite Wrestling's new authority figure will be revealed on Wednesday night's edition of Dynamite from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Although he has seldom appeared on-screen, Tony Khan has been presented as AEW's top official in both storyline and reality, with Khan ever-present at Gorilla during the promotion's shows. Khan was laid out by The Elite on the April 24 edition of Dynamite, however, only moments after he reinstated Jack Perry.

Khan appeared throughout the NFL Draft in a neck brace and it was noted in a storyline update that Khan is not cleared to travel due to the injuries he sustained on Dynamite.

This ultimately leaves Khan stranded in Jacksonville but the AEW CEO revealed to TV Insider that the highest-ranking official onsite in Winnipeg will be revealed on Dynamite.

"We all have experience working outside the office. During the lockdown, we got used to meetings on Teams and Zoom. I'll still be overseeing AEW and managing the show remotely. As for who will be the highest-ranking official onsite, stay tuned Wednesday. It will certainly be addressed this week on TBS. This power struggle that is happening in AEW," Khan stated.

The Young Bucks are already on-screen authority figures to some extent due to their position as Executive Vice Presidents within the promotion. The third EVP in Kenny Omega is set to return on Dynamite too, however, so he may well be positioned as the new top official in Tony Khan's absence.
