Ring of Honor are set to return to the Hammerstein Ballroom in December for Final Battle, and it seems All Elite Wrestling will also be using the venue for an episode of Collision.

The building is famous amongst wrestling fans for its ties with professional wrestling, with Andrew Zarian noting on X/Twitter that AEW are set to debut in the building on December 21 with a taped edition of Collision.

Zarian did note Collision was set for ‘Manhattan Center (Hammerstein)’, but it must be noted that former WWE Raw venue known as the Manhattan Center in fact refers to the Grand Ballroom, with the Hammerstein a separate venue within the same building.

The Hammerstein itself has been the host to many significant shows in ROH history, with Final Battle hosted in the venue on seven occasions between 2008 and 2018. The venue has also famously played host to Paul Heyman’s ECW, and was the venue of The WRLD on GCW with GCW set to return to the venue in 2025.

With many AEW events over the past year far from capacity, some fans online have called for the promotion to run more ‘interesting’ venues such as the Hammerstein, with it hoped the energy of the house will translate to TV.
