AEW has only just come out of their last PPV event in Full Gear, but the main event for next month’s show - the inaugural Worlds End on December 30, has already been announced.

Over the last month, Samoa Joe has offered out a hand to MJF in his battles with Bullet Club Gold, stating that he’d step in by his side in return for a shot at the AEW World Championship. MJF had been hesitant, but finally gave in, with Joe teaming up with MJF to defend the ROH World Tag Team Championships against The Gunns at Full Gear Zero Hour.

Last night on AEW Dynamite, Joe came to receive his rewards, and whilst MJF was hesitant to comply at first, he gave in and agreed to the match. MJF will have the hometown advantage, battling Joe in New York at Worlds End. The pair previously battled at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, though MJF escaped with the World Title thanks to interference from his best friend Adam Cole.
