AEW Worlds End PPV Set For December 30

The first ever AEW Worlds End PPV set for December 30

After mounting speculation, All Elite Wrestling have confirmed that their first ever Worlds End pay-per-view event is set for December 30 from Long Island, New York.

Rumours of a New Year’s PPV for AEW have been circulating for several weeks, with trademarks recently filed for ‘Worlds End’. On the October 25 edition of AEW Dynamite the event was officially confirmed, with the show set for the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island.

Worlds End will be the eighth AEW PPV of 2023, with the company adopting a monthly PPV model ever since All In in August. Worlds End will also be the first-ever AEW PPV to take place in New York. This comes with the belief that AEW will indeed adopt a full monthly PPV schedule moving forward, with it suggested that broadcast partner Warner Bros. Discovery were keen for the company to increase their PPV output.

AEW originally presented just four PPV events per year, with special edition episodes of Dynamite littered throughout the year. Starting with 2022, the schedule increased to five with the inaugural AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV, before the gradual move to eight in 2023.
