Fans will have to tune in to the Friday, October 27 episode of AEW Rampage if they want to see multiple talents return to All Elite Wrestling.

AEW taped Friday's Rampage following a live edition of Dynamite on Wednesday night in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Kip Sabian made an appearance during the show and cut a promo in which he repeatedly insulted Philadelphia. Instead of an ECW original making their way to the ring, though, Mark Briscoe made his return to All Elite Wrestling to defend Philly's honour and he proceeded to take out Kip Sabian and send him scurrying from the ring.

Briscoe has been out of action since July due to a knee injury. He was scheduled to challenge then-champion Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH World Title at Death Before Dishonor but Briscoe was pulled from the match due to his injury. Castagnoli defended the title against PAC instead.

Briscoe wasn't the only talent to return on Rampage, though. Abadon's return was advertised during Dynamite and she went on to defeat Willow Nightingale, Anna Jay, and Skye Blue to earn a shot at the AEW Women's World Championship on Saturday's Collision.

Wednesday night was Abadon's first appearance on AEW TV in 2023 and it will be her first match on either TNT or TBS since she unsuccessfully challenged Britt Baker for the AEW Women's World Title in a Trick or Treat Match back in October 2021.

Abadon has worked two AEW dark matches this year, although she had not been booked since June.
