AEW Wrestler Returns To TV For First Time In Three Years On Collision

An absent AEW wrestler has returned to TV

Last night’s episode of AEW Collision saw the newly formed team of Chris Jericho & Hook (known as “LionHook”) take on Shane Taylor Promotions duo of Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty in a winning effort, emerging victorious in what was just their second match teaming together.

After the match, Anthony Ogogo made a surprise and shock return to AEW programming to attack the pair, aligning himself with Taylor and Moriarty as the newest member of the Shane Taylor Promotions faction. The trio stood tall over the fallen babyfaces, holding up a “Shane Taylor Promotions” banner.

Although Ogogo competed on the YouTube AEW Dark show in 2022, and again showed up on the Zero Hour pre-show of AEW All In 2023 at Wembley Stadium, this is the first time since 2021 that Ogogo has appeared on an AEW television show. He last wrestled on the June 4th edition of Dynamite, teaming with QT Marshall to defeat Cody Rhodes & Lee Johnson.

On an episode of the AEW Unrestricted podcast back in January, Ogogo revealed that he had signed a new deal with the company.
