AJ Styles Appears In Video Message At IMPACT Slammiversary

AJ Styles appears in IMPACT

Mr. TNA appeared on an IMPACT Wrestling broadcast for the first time in several years at the June 19 Slammiversary pay-per-view.

Appearing on the show in a video message, AJ Styles celebrated the X Division and talked about how they revolutionised professional wrestling back in 2002 before The Phenomenal One thanked the fans for naming him the most impactful X Division wrestler in the promotion's history.

Styles then thanked WWE for allowing him to send in a video message before he raised an imaginary glass in a toast to another 20 years of IMPACT Wrestling.

Styles was one of TNA Wrestling's most recognisable stars during his time with the company from 2002 until December 2013 and he was a five-time world champion in TNA, as well as a six-time X-Division Champion, and six-time tag team champion. The now 45-year-old was also the first Grand Slam Champion in the promotion's history.

Upon leaving TNA in 2013, Styles performed for the likes of Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling before he signed with WWE in 2016. He has remained with Vince McMahon's company ever since and is a two-time WWE Champion.
