AJ Styles Reveals WWE Advice From 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin

"Within weeks, it was changed and I don't think he was wrong in what he was saying."

AJ Styles has revealed 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin advised him to tone down his jacket style when he got to WWE.

Styles has cemented himself as one of WWE's leading performers since joining the company in 2016 as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble.

'The Phenomenal One' has revealed, however, that the Rattlesnake has a minor idea to alter Styles' presentation slightly, telling him there was too much going on with his entrance jacket.

Speaking on the A Couple in with Cody Jinks Podcast, Styles said: "One of the things [Austin] told me was, 'Your jacket, almost too much going on.' Within weeks, it was changed and I don't think he was wrong in what he was saying. Less is more. Just little things that help you get to where you're at today."

Having won every championship in WWE except for tag team gold, Styles is set to compete for the Raw World Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 37 when he teams with Omos to take on The New Day members Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.
