AJ Styles Set For Appearance On December 21 WWE NXT
Styles has been having problems with Grayson Waller
AJ Styles has been announced as appearing on this week's episode of WWE NXT.
The Phenomenal One was confirmed as heading to NXT by commentator Jimmy Smith on this week's episode of Raw, with the visit to the WWE developmental being set up after Grayson Waller discussed Styles on a video on social media over the weekend.
Waller, who attacked Johnny Gargano in his closing segment with WWE two weeks ago, said in the video that he loved Styles when he was a kid but feels the former WWE Champion is now hanging on too long. He then mocked Styles' haircut and said he was riding on Omos' coattails, before finally describing himself as 'The Phenomenal Grayson Waller'.
Styles would tweet in response to Waller: "Someone get this kid a clue…"
Waller was again active on Twitter as Styles' appearance on NXT was announced, writing: "Did I hear that right? @AJStylesOrg wants to come to my house at @WWENXT? Just make sure you wipe your feet on the way in #WWERaw"
Styles previously made an appearance on NXT during the build to Survivor Series 2019, teaming with Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson against Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee & Riddle.
