Aleister Black has hinted at a potential return to in-ring action on social media.
Black has not been seen on WWE television since the October 12, 2020 episode of Raw when he was beaten by Kevin Owens. Despite being drafted to Smackdown, Black has not featured on WWE programming in almost six months, amid reports that Vince McMahon and WWE creative see nothing in the 35-year-old.
The former NXT Champion has also reportedly been dealing with minor injuries and has been spotted at the WWE Performance Center as he works towards full fitness, and a recent post on Instagram has suggested 'The Fighting Man From Amsterdam' could be set for a comeback in the near future.
Black wrote: "Let us sit face to face soon. I will have many stories to tell, all of them in full color."
Black's wife, Thea Trinidad, was released by WWE in November following a disagreement over third-party platforms, but reports since have suggested that her departure and Black's subsequent absence from WWE television are not linked.
