Andrade El Idolo will be out of action, possibly for a few weeks.

The reigning AEW National Champion announced on X/Twitter that he hadn't been feeling well since AEW Grand Slam Mexico and would be absent for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

"Hi everyone and especially Las Señoritas! I've just landed back in Miami, where I live, and I went straight to the DR. I hadn't been feeling well since the Wednesday after the Grand Slam, but as a professional, I had two shows in Canada with MLP. I'll keep you posted, but I have to be out of action for a few days or weeks. It's nothing serious, Take care! but... I have one question?" Andrade tweeted.

Whether El Idolo is dealing with a legitimate injury or simply playing up the Grand Slam Mexico angle that saw Andrade be laid out by a returning MJF is unknown. Andrade secured the #1 spot in the Casino Gauntlet at All In courtesy of a Three-Way win over Tommaso Ciampa and Komander at Grand Slam Mexico, only to be attacked by MJF, who reclaimed the Dynamite diamond ring from Andrade before proclaiming himself to be the real AEW World Champion with MJF's own Triple B title belt.

MJF looks set to join Andrade in the Casino Gauntlet at All In as he will compete in a Three Way against "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Nick Wayne to earn the #2 spot in the upcoming pay-per-view match.
