Andrade El Idolo Wins Return Match With Charlotte Flair's Figure Eight On AEW Collision

Andrade El Idolo appears to have been getting some training from Charlotte Flair

Andrade El Idolo made his return to All Elite Wrestling on the debut episode of Collision as the former IWGP Intercontinental Champion went one-on-one with Buddy Matthews.

Both men fought back and forth in a banger and it was Andrade El Idolo who picked up the win. Andrade only appeared to be paying homage to his father-in-law Ric Flair with a Figure Four Leglock but El Idolo then transitioned into a Figure Eight, giving Matthews no choice but to tap out.

The Figure Eight is the finisher of Andrade's wife Charlotte Flair. The couple have been married since tying the knot in May 2022.

Following the match, Andrade offered to shake Matthews' hand and Buddy looked set to do so until the lights in the arena went out. Malakai Black and Brody King were stood behind Andrade when the lights came back on and House of Black laid out Andrade El Idolo to end the segment standing tall.

The post-match attack looks set to lead to a trios feud between House of Black and La Faccion Ingobernable. RUSH has led the faction in Andrade's absence, with Dralistico and Preston Vance making up the remaining members of the stable.
