Anna Jay Reveals She Suffered Injury In AEW Rampage Street Fight

Anna Jay Received A Painful Injury During Her Street Fight On AEW Rampage

Anna Jay has been noticeably absent from AEW programming over the month or so, not appearing ever since her brutal Street Fight on the January 13 episode of AEW Rampage, when she teamed up with Tay Melo to take on the duo of Willow Nightingale and Ruby Soho.

Fans will remember quite an ugly spot in the match when Willow Nightingale delivered a huge sit-out powerbomb to Anna Jay, with the pair going off the stage and through a table - or that was the intention at least. Although Nightingale went through the table, Jay landed very awkwardly on the concrete floor in a moment which was quite painful to watch. It was painful to take for Jay too, as she revealed on Twitter the extent of her injuries in response to a fan who asked if she had a bruised tailbone. Jay said, “No bruised tailbone, but I did have some dislocated ribs. Not fun.”

It isn’t clear how long this will put Jay out of action for, but we wish her a speedy recovery. Tay Melo hasn’t done too much in her absence, so Tony Khan could be waiting for Jay to return before putting the pair back into a storyline.

H/T Fightful
