Report: WWE Fires Senior Vice President Of Talent Operations & Strategy

WWE's Senior Vice President Of Talent Operations & Strategy Has Been Fired From The Company

The last few months has seen a lot of reshuffling of positions in the WWE hierarchy, with the likes of Vince McMahon coming in and out of the top roles seemingly as he pleases. There has been another change recently as Senior Vice President Of Talent Operations & Strategy, James Kimball, is no longer in his role with the company.

Fightful Select first revealed this news:

“We're told it was an HR violation and that he was terminated immediately last week. Kimball had been with the company for two years, working on the NIL program, among other things. Previously, Kimball spent ten years with UFC in various roles including a role as the company's Vice President of Operations. Kimball left UFC in 2020 to join WWE.”

In terms of the specifics of this HR violation, there isn’t too much to note. However, it does seem as though this is an isolated incident separate to that of all the corporate changes in recent months when Vince McMahon made a return to his various roles. Fightful Select also noted that several names in terms of both talent and other workers were shocked by the decision to terminate Kimball.
