Trios Title Match Set For AEW Revolution

Huge Trios Championship Match Added To AEW Revolution 2022 Card

The AEW Revolution 2023 card is very much taking shape with the show just one week away. Another title match was revealed to have been added to the card on AEW Rampage, as The Elite are set to defend their AEW World Trios Championships against The House of Black.

The trio of Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews have been targeting The Elite for a few weeks, popping up on screen during backstage segments, in addition to a few ‘lights out’ moments too, where they have been stalking the team of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. On Friday’s Rampage, this happened once again as they appeared and disappeared during the Bucks’ match against Aussie Open.

This match has all the potential to steal the show on March 5 in San Francisco, as all six men are tremendously talented and have a track record of brilliant trios matches in AEW. After just over a month with the gold, The Elite are surely favourites going in, but with House of Black in much need of a major victory, they can’t be counted out.

The addition of The Elite vs. House of Black looks to potentially wrap up the Revolution card, which currently looks like this:

  • MJF (c) vs. Bryan Danielson - AEW World Championship
  • Jamie Hayter (c) vs. Ruby Soho vs. Saraya - AEW Women’s World Championship
  • The Gunns (c) vs. The Acclaimed vs. Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal vs. Casino Battle Royale Winners - AEW World Tag Team Championships
  • Jon Moxley vs. “Hangman” Adam Page - Texas Death Match
  • Samoa Joe (c) vs. Wardlow - AEW TNT Championship
  • Chris Jericho vs. Ricky Starks
  • The Elite (c) vs. House of Black - AEW World Trios Championships
