Report: Potential Spoiler On WWE's Plans For Shawn Michaels-Grayson Waller Storyline

The last few weeks have seen some interesting developments take place on NXT, as upstart Grayson Waller has been embroiled in a progressively intense and heated feud with the main authority figure of NXT, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels. Things started following Waller’s loss to Bron Breakker at NXT Vengeance Day, as he took out the frustrations regarding his loss on Shawn Michaels during the post-show media scrum. 

After Waller invited Shawn Michaels to his in-ring talk show of the Grayson Waller Effect for Roadblock in two weeks time, it has left fans to speculate on where this feud is headed, and whether to expect a shocking return to the ring for Michaels. However, those anticipating Michaels to lace up his boots once again will be disappointed, as WRKD Wrestling reported on Twitter: "the idea of Shawn Michaels forcing Grayson Waller to face off against a debuting Dragon Lee has indeed been discussed."

Dragon Lee is one of the biggest recent signings for WWE, signing with the company at the back end of 2022, though he has yet to make an appearance on NXT programming. Fighting on behalf of Michaels will give him a strong platform to get his NXT run off the ground. In the case of Michaels, he hasn’t wrestled since the disastrous Crown Jewel 2018 tag team match, where he and Triple H took on The Undertaker & Kane. This will very likely be his last-ever match too.
