Anna Jay Set To Make AEW In-Ring Return

Anna Jay is set to return to an All Elite Wrestling ring for the first time in nearly two months, with the Jericho Appreciation Society member set to face Britt Baker in singles action on March 18 at AEW's first house show in two years. 

Anna Jay (A.S.) last wrestled on January 11, teaming with Tay Melo against Ruby Soho and Willow Nightingale in a street fight on AEW Rampage. During the match, Nightingale delivered a sit-out powerbomb onto Anna Jay off the ramp and through a table, with Anna Jay overshooting most of the table and landing on the concrete floor.

As a result of the street fight, Anna Jay reportedly suffered ‘some dislocated ribs’ and rumours suggested she also suffered a bruised tailbone, with the former Dark Order member having been kept off AEW TV since.

Jay’s match with Baker will take place on the first event of AEW’s ‘House Rules’ tour, with AEW looking to run more house shows in order for certain talents to gain more experience and seasoning away from TV cameras, as well as practice spots and matches that could be considered for AEW TV.
