Charlotte Flair Comments On Mercedes Moné's NJPW Signing

Charlotte Flair has commented on Mercedes Moné's recent move to NJPW

One of the main rivals for Charlotte Flair during her WWE career has been Sasha Banks, who is now plying her trade elsewhere as Mercedes Moné.

The two battled in NXT before being promoted to the main roster, where they clashed at major events like WrestleMania and SummerSlam and made history as the two first female performers to compete inside Hell in a Cell in 2016.

Asked about her thoughts on Moné's decision to leave WWE and wrestle for New Japan during a recent interview with The Daily Mail, The Queen said:

"I think it's cool whenever someone follows their heart, and that's inspiring. There will never be another group like the Four Horsewomen, ever," said Flair.

Charlotte is the current WWE SmackDown Women's Champion, while Mercedes is the reigning IWGP Women's Champion. Flair is scheduled to defend her title against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39, while Moné's next defence will take place against Stardom High-Speed Champion AZM on NJPW's April 8 Sakura Genesis show.

During the interview, Flair also mentioned her desire to one day manage her husband Andrade El Idolo.
