Another Cody Rhodes Appearance Teased For NXT
Cody Rhodes has another announcement to make
This past Tuesday saw a loaded and stacked episode of NXT to go up against a special Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite. With names like John Cena, Asuka, The Undertaker, and Cody Rhodes on the card, it led to the developmental brand getting a big win in terms of viewership.
Rhodes’ appearance saw him acting as the guest General Manager for one night only, and this led to him announcing the return of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and the Men’s Breakout Tournament, in addition to a few other matches from last week and for next week too, including the Bada Bing Bada Boom Battle Royal.
On X, Cody Rhodes has hinted that a follow-up NXT appearance is on the cards. He said, “Last Tuesday before the clock struck midnight I made one final decision as Guest NXT GM. Find out what that decision was this Tuesday on NXT!”
It isn’t entirely clear if Rhodes will be in attendance to make this announcement, but the promotional picture tweeted by him sees him with the NXT logo, so it is heavily implied that he will be there.
