All Elite Wrestling have given wrestlers past and present an opportunity to work since the promotion's formation in 2019.

It seems that a name from wrestling past is currently working for the promotion in a backstage role, with former WCW and ECW wrestler Scotty Riggs working for the company. Tony Schiavone revealed the news on What Happened When, adding that Riggs performs various logistical support duties, such as driving talent to and from shows:

“Yeah, behind the scenes. Scotty’s been with us for, gosh, over six months or so, yeah. I think it’s great that Tony and the company gave him a job, let him work for us," Schiavone said.

A former WCW Tag Team Champion, Riggs had previously attended AEW Revolution in 2024 as a guest to watch Sting’s last match in the night’s main event, with Riggs shown in the crowd alongside Nikita Koloff.

Riggs - aka Scotty Anton - worked for WCW from 1995 until 1999, teaming with Marcus Bagwell as The American Males before joining Raven’s Flock. After his WCW departure, Riggs made his way to ECW where he feuded with real-life friend Rob Van Dam, costing RVD the ECW TV Title during his run.
