Another Title Match Set For NJPW Battle Autumn

Another title will be on the line at NJPW Battle Autumn

A new title match has been added to the final event of NJPW's Battle Autumn tour on Saturday, November 5 in Osaka.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced that United Empire's Francesco Akira and TJP will defend the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships against Los Ingobernables de Japon's BUSHI and Titan at Battle Autumn.

Titan is the newest member of LIJ and he helped the faction pick up a win over United Empire at Declaration of Power, attacking Akira. LIJ have since picked up three wins over United Empire on the Battle Autumn tour, including pinning TJP following BUSHI and Titan's new Angel Immortal finisher.

TJP and Francesco Akira have been IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions since winning the gold from Master Wato and Ryusuke Taguchi in June. They have only defended the belts once since then.

Several matches have already been announced for Battle Autumn on November 5, including a NEVER Openweight Title match between WWE's Karl Anderson and Hikuleo, and an IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship match between Will Ospreay and Tetsuya Naito. NJPW noted that Jay White, Kazuchika Okada, and Tama Tonga will also be in action but their matches have yet to be revealed.
