Another WWE writer is no longer with the company.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Nick Bonanno has exited WWE, leaving the company after the last set of TV tapings. Bonanno had been a part of the creative team on WWE NXT, working as a writer and producer. There is no word on why Bonanno decided to leave WWE.

Bonanno had been a part of WWE since April 2022. Prior to his WWE stint, he was the executive producer and showrunner of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.

Bonanno is the latest writer to leave WWE in recent weeks. Jen Pepperman, a key writer on the main roster creative team since 2017, left WWE earlier this month and has since signed with All Elite Wrestling as Vice President of Content Development. She will work alongside the current AEW creative team and Pepperman will be the personal writer for Mercedes Moné when she debuts in All Elite Wrestling.

Other recent departures from WWE include Kevin Patrick and Matt Camp, who were both released by the organisation.

WWE NXT continues to be headed up by Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels. Triple H, meanwhile, remains WWE Chief Content Officer.
