Asuka Match Added To WWE SmackDown

Asuka in action on WWE SmackDown

Asuka and Liv Morgan will try and resolve their issues on the go-home edition of Friday Night SmackDown before Elimination Chamber.

Asuka, Nikki Cross, and Carmella picked up a win over Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Natalya on the February 13 edition of Raw after Asuka forced Morgan to tap out. Morgan seemingly wasn't very happy about the loss and she challenged Asuka to a match on social media, with the bout being added to SmackDown by Adam Pearce soon after.

Asuka and Morgan are set to be involved in the women's Elimination Chamber match at Saturday's pay-per-view along with Nikki Cross, Natalya, Raquel Rodriguez, and Carmella. The winner will face Bianca Belair for the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 39.

Asuka has been back on WWE TV since her return under the Murder Clown gimmick at the Royal Rumble.

Other matches already official for SmackDown include GUNTHER vs. Madcap Moss for the Intercontinental Championship, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus vs. The Viking Raiders, and Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler vs. Natalya and Shotzi.
