Mark Davis of Aussie Open looks set for a stint on the shelf.

Davis revealed on X (formerly Twitter) following his WrestleDream match that he had suffered a broken wrist, writing: "Sometimes you win em, sometimes you snap your wrist."

Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio also noted it is believed Davis suffered a broken wrist.

"Mark Davis, I think, may have broken his wrist. Tony did not answer a question about any other injuries, but I did have someone else say that they thought that he had broken his wrist, but that's not 100% confirmed. But when I brought it up, they were like, 'Yeah, I think that's what happened,'" Alvarez said.

Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher unsuccessfully challenged FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at WrestleDream. Aussie Open signed with AEW earlier this year and they were previously ROH World Tag Team Champions, only to lose the belts to Adam Cole and MJF at All In.

A broken wrist typically takes between 6 to 12 weeks to recover from.
