While announcing their live events for Q1 2025, it was revealed that All Elite Wrestling will hold the Revolution pay-per-view at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on March 9.

Revolution will be the first time AEW have held a show at the former Staples Center, with the promotion previously running events at the Kia Forum. Fightful Select has reported the former Staples Center had an exclusivity agreement with WWE which may have expired when WWE decided to book the Intuit Dome for Raw's premiere on Netflix.

One source of Fightful's at the Staples Center said that WWE switching to the Intuit Dome had "rubbed them the wrong way" and they were happy about the AEW Revolution announcement coming so quickly after the Raw premiere reveal.

Within the live events announcement, the changes to All Elite Wrestling's Collision plans were confirmed. Only four episodes of Collision from December 18 to March 12 will air live, with the rest being taped either on a Thursday or on a Wednesday night after Dynamite. This will likely be seen as a positive change for talent, who were reportedly fans of AEW moving away from airing Collision live.
