An absent AEW talent has revealed why they haven't been on TV of late.
Zak "Zodiac" Knight took to X (formerly Twitter) to explain his absence, noting that he returned to the United Kingdom in June but has been ready to perform since August.
"Just to clarify some things! I came home June & needed a lil time off due to personal/health reasons. I've been fit, clear & ready to go since August. AEW has a stacked & very talented roster!! I'll remain patient and wait for my next opportunity! Let's be avin ya," he wrote.
In a reply to another user's comment, Knight confirmed that he was able to take independent bookings while waiting for AEW to call him.
According to cagematch.net, the 33-year-old has wrestled three matches since August, including two for his father Ricky Knight's WAW promotion.
Saraya's brother signed with AEW earlier this year. He has only competed once on AEW television, defeating Angelo Parker on the April 12 edition of Rampage.
He has, however, competed several times for Ring of Honor, as well as in dark matches at numerous AEW TV tapings.
