Nick Aldis Wants To Have At Least One WWE Match
The SmackDown GM is ready to step into the ring

Current SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis will not be content with his professional wrestling career unless he wrestles at least one match for WWE.
During a recent appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Aldis was asked if would be at peace if he never wrestled again, to which he replied:
"All honesty? No. I would like to lace them up. I don't care if it's on a regular basis, but I've earned it - once. I don't know [if it would just be one time]. If it was one more time, so be it. Like I said, I feel like I meet the criteria to be on that canvas at least once".
The 38-year-old confirmed that he has fully recovered from a ruptured biceps tendon he suffered (while at a trampoline park with his son) earlier this year.
Though he would like to step inside a WWE ring at least once, the former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion revealed that it was not something he himself has specifically lobbied for.
"Look, it gets asked all the time by everyone except me. I have never once said, 'Hey, what about me? Could I wrestle?'. Because I don't need to. If and when the time comes, it'll be what they want and it will hopefully be the right time. I just told them that if you want to do that, I'm ready," he said.
A previous report suggested that WWE may hold a SmackDown GM Vs. Raw GM match down the line.
