Rey Mysterio makes his entrance for a match on Raw in 2023

WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio turns 50 next month, but the legendary masked man shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Despite a career spanning over three decades featuring countless major injuries, Mysterio is currently feeling in tip-top shape thanks to stem cell therapy.

Discussing the impact stem cells and other modern treatments have had on his body while speaking with Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, Rey said:

"Incredible. Thanks to stem cells and modern medicine, all the little gadgets that are out there, like cold plunge, infrared sauna, all those things have played a big factor in me being able to continue still. Obviously, stem cells is the majority factor, and that has kind of slowed down the time for me. So I'm aging a little bit slower than normal".

Mysterio is currently aligned with the Latino World Order on Raw. He last competed on the November 18 edition of Raw (taped November 11), where he teamed with Zelina Vega to defeat Chad Gable and Ivy Nile.

Earlier this year, he spoke about wanting WWE to host a premium live event in Mexico.
