Backstage News On Bull Nakano's WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

More on Bull Nakano’s forthcoming WWE Hall of Fame induction

The legendary Bull Nakano is set to take her rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame, with the influential former WWE Women’s Champion the second name announced for the 2024 ceremony.

Nakano spoke with Tokyo Sports after the induction was formally announced, with the All Japan Women’s icon saying the following about her upcoming induction:

“On January 16th, I was asked, it has been decided that I will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but, ‘Do you intend to receive the award?’ ‘Of course I do!’ And cried with joy. I was told that it would be a top secret until the announcement, and I tried not to meet anyone (laughs),” said Nakano.

There’s no word yet on who will be inducting Bull into the Hall of Fame, but it’s a safe bet that historic rival and fellow Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze will be under consideration to handle duties.

Nakano wrestled for WWE during the New Generation, working for the promotion from 1994 until 1995. Nakano would also wrestle for WCW from 1995 until 1996, appearing alongside fellow Joshi legend Akira Hokuto, whilst also resuming her feud with Blayze, aka Madusa.
