WWE TV has been on the receiving end of a number of positive production changes in 2024 following the departure of Kevin Dunn and Lee Fitting's appointment as WWE Head of Media & Production. Changes include video packages for high-profile Raw matches, greater illumination of the crowd, and the scrapping of incessant camera cuts that had become a hallmark of WWE programming.

WWE have also introduced long tracking drone shots that sees the broadcast move from the top of the ramp to the ring as the in-ring action continues. They have been used on a regular basis on Monday Night Raw and the long tracking shots made their latest appearance on March 11 during the final stages of the Gauntlet Match to face Gunther at WrestleMania 40.

WWE's use of these long drone shots is due to a directive from company higher-ups, according to Corey Brennan of Fightful.

"I've been told there has been a directive from WWE higher ups to increase more dramatic long shots like these," Brennan tweeted in response to the long single shot on Raw.

Before he joined WWE, Lee Fitting spent over 25 years at ESPN, overseeing production on several shows including Monday Night Football and College GameDay.
