Backstage News On CM Punk's NXT Appearance

CM Punk’s return to WWE has seen the multi-time world champion show up on RAW, SmackDown, and as of last night, NXT too. This follows the narrative of Punk entertaining offers from Adam Pearce, Nick Aldis, and Shawn Michaels, before deciding which brand to sign a contract to. 

When it comes to CM Punk being at NXT itself, a report from Haus of Wrestling has indicated that things went swimmingly backstage, with him being ‘great around everyone’, even Triple H. Punk and Triple H have had known bad blood in the past which seems to have been swept under the carpet since Punk’s comeback, and their interactions backstage last night were reportedly very cordial and ‘“legit” very good.’

It is noted that Punk was very happy to be there, and “those close” to Punk has stated how he wants to keep riding his current wave. Punk shared the ring with Shawn Michaels at Deadline, opening the show with a promo segment where they got the crowd hyped up for the event.
