Backstage News On Kazuchika Okada Aligning With The Young Bucks On AEW Dynamite

More on Kazuchika Okada aligning with The Young Bucks

Following weeks of rumours and speculation, Kazuchika Okada officially became All Elite on the March 6 episode of Dynamite.

Okada made his full-time debut on the show, initially looking set to make the save for Eddie Kingston after he was beat down by The Young Bucks. Okada ended up siding with Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, however, as he decked Eddie Kingston with a Rainmaker before he declared his intention to challenge for the Continental Crown. Okada was then confirmed to be the newest member of The Elite, only joining the Young Bucks in the stable after the Jacksons kicked out Hangman Page and Kenny Omega.

Okada had been rumoured to appear on the March 6 episode of Dynamite and Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Okada, The Young Bucks, and Tony Khan had known about plans for Okada's debut for months.

"The Young Bucks segment with Okada, that has been known, not by me, but it has been known by The Young Bucks and Okada and Tony Khan for literally months. It was Tony Khan's idea to do this a long time ago, the show after Revolution," Meltzer said.

When exactly Eddie Kingston vs. Kazuchika Okada will take place is unknown but AEW's next pay-per-view will be Dynasty on April 21 in St. Louis.
