Backstage News On Man Like DeReiss' TNA Debut

United Kingdom independent wrestling star Man Like DeReiss made his debut for TNA Wrestling at the promotion's tapings from Full Sail University on Friday, February 21. DeReiss lost to Jason Hotch in a match taped for Xplosion.

Man Like DeReiss' appearance was actually a tryout for the former NORTH Tag Team Champion, Fightful Select has reported. DeReiss has yet to be signed by TNA.

One person on the UK indy scene has claimed TNA would be "nuts" not to sign DeReiss, while a major name on the indies said DeReiss was already a star and "now his star will shine brighter."

On the UK indies, Man Like DeReiss has regularly teamed with Leon Slater as Boisterous Behaviour. Slater is signed to TNA and he has been recently featured in an alliance with The Hardys.

Man Like DeReiss has reportedly been the subject of interest from WWE, along with former PROGRESS Women's Champion Rhio.

Elsewhere at the TNA IMPACT tapings, a title vs. title match was set for WWE Roadblock.
