WWE filed to trademark 'Kalyx' with the United States Patent & Trademark Office on February 21 and it has been revealed the filing was for the in-ring name of a WWE referee.

Fightful Select has reported WWE filed to trademark 'Kalyx' for referee Jessika Car, who wrestled under a mask as part of the WWE EVOLVE tapings at the WWE Performance Center. Carr will be featured in the fourth episode of WWE EVOLVE in a tag team match.

Jessika Carr previously wrestled from 2010 until 2017 as Kennadi Brink on the independent wrestling scene, although she had a handful of matches in Ring of Honor and even faced Nikki Cross on a January 2017 episode of NXT. Carr signed with WWE as a referee in 2017.

WWE have held two sets of EVOLVE tapings at the WWE Performance Center so far on February 7 and February 21. The show will feature a mix of talents from WWE ID, NXT Level Up, and NXT, as well as Performance Center trainees. The show is being taped in front of friends and family as WWE attempts to stop spoilers from leaking.

WWE EVOLVE will premiere on Wednesday, March 5 on Tubi in the United States. The new series will air on YouTube internationally.
