Backstage News On Recent AEW International Title Changes

News on the the booking of the AEW International Title

The International Title has become a little bit of a hot potato in All Elite Wrestling, with Orange Cassidy regaining the title on the October 10 Title Tuesday edition of the show.

Cassidy won the title from Rey Fenix who in turn won it from Jon Moxley in an unplanned move. A new report from Fightful Select has shed a little more light on the recent booking of the belt, with it believed that the title was taken off Fenix as he is facing visa issues and is likely to miss TV time going forward.

Originally, Jon Moxley was slated to face Fenix on October 10 and was booked to regain the title after dropping it due to concussion issues, but was pulled after not receiving medical clearance. Cassidy took Moxley’s place and defeated Fenix, with it believed that whomever would have gone up against the Lucha Brother would have won due to Fenix’s visa situation.

Whether Cassidy has another lengthy reign or quickly drops it back to Moxley is yet unknown, with it unclear when Mox will be cleared to make an in-ring return.
