Silas Young Hoping Recent AEW/ROH Matches Lead To A Job

Silas Young hoping for a job following recent AEW/ROH appearances

When Tony Khan bought Ring of Honor, he sought to use many of the faces involved in the promotion’s past, with the likes of Samoa Joe, Nigel McGuinness, and The Briscoe Brothers signed to deals.

ROH has also featured other ROH names on one-off appearance deals, such as former ROH World TV Champion Silas Young, with ‘The Last Real Man’ wrestling across both ROH and AEW throughout 2022 and 2023.

During a conversation with Bryan Asbury on Developmentally Speaking, Young revealed that the hopes his appearances eventually lead to a job with the company, with Young saying the following:

"I’m still working pretty regularly, still doing shows basically almost every weekend. I’ve been lucky enough to do some stuff with AEW. Basically every time they bring me there, they put me in a good position, they give me a good match, so it’s been good. I hope honestly that, the next few months to a year that maybe it turns into a job," Young said.

Young last appeared on ROH TV in early September, with a loss to Tony Nese in singles competition.
