AEW Dynasty 2025 went off the air with Jon Moxley retaining his world championship, thanks to some surprise assistance from the returning Young Bucks.

The multi-time AEW World Tag Team Champions had not been seen in the promotion for several months, and their appearance during Dynasty’s main event raised plenty of storyline questions. Per a report from Dave Meltzer on F4WOnline, The Bucks arrived at Dynasty after 10 pm - at which point the show was well underway. AEW management did not hide the Jacksons away and it is said that people saw them in the arena, but the belief was it was late enough in the day, with AEW not wanting word of their returns to spread before the show began.

The EVPs have not been seen on TV since late 2024, with their sabbatical explained in kayfabe with a hurried shredding of sensitive documents before they fled the arena. Since then, The Bucks have wrestled just twice, working a pair of shows for New Japan Pro-Wrestling in early 2025, with their last match coming at New Beginning in Osaka on February 11.
