Booker T has responded to Swerve Strickland's comments about him following All Elite Wrestling's Dynasty pay-per-view on Sunday night.

Strickland ultimately lost in the main event of Dynasty following the return of The Young Bucks but he still cut a promo for the crowd after the pay-per-view went off the air. After discussing representation and leading the fans in chants of "Swerve's House", Strickland ended the promo by saying:

"Thank you all for being here. Thank you all for the merchandise. Get home safely and one last thing, just for my amusement, f*ck Booker T."

Booker T addressed Swerve's comments on his Hall of Fame podcast, offering advice to the former AEW World Champion.

"I'm not even going to get upset about it. I'm going to give Swerve Strickland a little bit of advice…that advice would be don't be talking about something other than the pay-per-view at the end of the night. That's the main event and the last thing people are going to remember....I'm sure Tony Khan don't appreciate the news, the headline not being what happened at Dynasty with all the matches…they’re talking about Booker T. That was a bad move," the WWE NXT commentator stated.

Booker T also noted that he thought the dispute between him and Swerve was over, and he didn't expect to see his name trending on social media on Monday.

"People like Swerve, we come from a different cloth, a totally different cloth. I wish nothing but the best for this dude, man. I want to see him succeed. Would I ever say anything positive about him ever again? Probably not. Would I ever put him over as far as being a good worker and someone who could perhaps transform this business? I probably would never ever do that again. Because I learned my lesson," Booker T later added.

Swerve Strickland and Booker T have been involved in a war of words after Swerve said WWE treated the five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion unfairly, comments which Booker T disagreed with. Booker T later confronted Strickland in person.
